About Project
This Motel was suggessted as a re-make in one of my programs and after looking at the original site you could see that it needed a make-over. To see the final work versus the original scroll down or visit the Figma Prototype above.
The Objective
My aim was to transform a website created in 2010 into a modern, responsive design. As demonstrated in the images below, the previous site's images were not appropriately sized and failed to render correctly on tablets, laptops, and mobile devices. Even on desktops, the images were disproportionate. Additionally, the outdated logo and navigation required an overhaul. The site's layout was reminiscent of a bygone era when UX/UI had yet to become crucial to website design, and responsive design had yet to gain traction. My task was to revamp the website to align with current design trends while ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
